**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) from concept through production.
* Conduct detailed engineering calculations, simulations (FEA), and stress analyses to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
* Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, BOMs, and test plans.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical engineers, manufacturing teams, and project managers to integrate mechanical designs and ensure seamless product development.
* Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs, identifying and implementing improvements based on test results and feedback.
* Research and evaluate new materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues in existing products, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA) and 2D drafting.
* Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
* Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
* Demonstrated ability to perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
**Preferred Skills:**
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
* Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and version control best practices.
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical design (e.g., ASME, ISO).
